It is super easy! If you are a senior or a caregiver to a senior inter­est­ed in VPP, we are just a text, phone call or email away!

Our VPP volunteer coordinators are excited to talk to you!

Upon the first phone call:

  • More specifics about the program, its services, events, and activities will be discussed.
  • Any question will be answered.
  • An initial short interview will be conducted to assess and identify the needs, interests, and requirements of the senior.

After the first phone call:

  • Based on the information taken, an appropriate match of volunteer(s) and services will be set up for our seniors.
  • Within 24-48 hours of the first phone call, our senior or their caregiver will be contacted by the matched volunteer to discuss and schedule the timing, frequency and other specifics of the next calls, virtual meetings, events, and activities.

Given that our services are not limited to telephone calls, our volunteers will discuss with our seniors the option of face-to-face connection through online platforms such as Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Zoom, etc. If the senior is interested but does not have any of the mentioned platforms installed, the volunteer will instruct our senior to set them up and guide them on how to use them.
